The Alabama Artists Alliance
Our Alliance is a community partnership between business leaders, local service providers, and area artists committed to enriching the lives of children, especially teenagers, through art.
The Artists
Our Area Artists participate in multiple levels of expertise and service.
The Advisory Artists are those who have been in the art field the longest. They are able to use their great wisdom, knowlege, and experience to direct the other Participating Artists along the best path of individual creativity and achievement. The Master Artists are those who have worked in the art field for at least ten years and are currently producing high quality art. These artists participate directly with the various programs sponsored through the alliance. The Gallery Artists are those who participate in the Cooperative Working Gallery and are willing to work on site and show their work in progress. The Gallery Artists mentor Apprentice and Students Artists.
Local Service Providers
A variety of Local Service Organizations who provide for the needs of children in the community receive artistic support from the Alliance.
Levels of membership in the Alliance are based on the individual needs of the non-profit organization. Artists participate in educational activities and fundraising events by working either directly or indirectly with the agency.
Business Leaders
All Sponsors who financially are committed to the Alliance.
Business Leaders are individuals or corporations who directly sponsor the Service Organization and support the contribution the artists have on their community while using sound business practices.
